We visited New York in 2009 and went to the Museum of Modern Art. At the time, they were exhibiting Tim Burtons work in film and animation. I love Tim Burton’s films growing up, slightly dark humour with a childish twist… The Museum of Modern Art is a great museum, especially for arty types like me – and their in-house graphic design team are a talented bunch.

The memorable piece from the exhibition was the 22ft high inflatable Tim Burton balloon boy, it was so surreal standing next to it…

Check out their showcase website: The Department of Advertising and?Graphic Design,?and the work they promote throughout the Museum… (and if they’re ever in need of some creative UK design assistance, I’d be more than happy to come over to New York! Any invites would be greatly received…!)
