What am I doing?

Currently working with the RAC optimising their breakdown cover journey. Assisting C-Breez on their loyalty members integration for their booking platform. And helping conduct user research for The British Library Labs.

In July 2024 Designrush magazine interviewed me for advice to help small businesses and SME’s on the Common UX Design Mistakes Preventing Brand Growth in 2024.

WHat experience do I have?

A practical product designer with over twenty years of experience designing user experiences for top-tier brands and growing startups. I’ve dedicated myself to understanding users’ needs, behaviours, and emotions to gain valuable insights.

A broad experience in industry sectors including e-commerce, education, travel, fintech, defence, automotive, healthcare, and cyber security.

I promote accessible user experiences and UX team collaboration within organisations to drive business success metrics.

Previously worked for Great State, a Bristol digital agency. I’m currently working as a Lead UX consultant on the Army Recruitment campaign. Guiding our UX team with the Head of UX to produce websites and apps that are done right and really solve the users’ (and clients’) needs.

My main duties include UX research, user testing, creating detailed user journeys, experience maps, personas, low & high-fidelity wireframes through to designing brand identities, creating and maintaining Figma design systems for websites, web-apps and SaaS applications.

I’ve also had my work featured in a few publications, including the world-renowned LogoLounge book 9 – and helped a client achieve an award for best UI/UX design in a mobile app.

And I’m always investing in myself and learning the latest apps, UX courses, research, online marketing and tap into industry experts and mentors who help me to help my clients.
