Sounds like another one for the design jargon website!
The rebranded Thomas Cook Group is a ‘sunny’ shining orange heart and will appear with a new strapline: “Let’s go!” (…back home – this hotel is crap!).
It reveals another ‘safe’ update to a big brand and it was created internally, so I’m sure it saved costs. But it just feels they could have done better! It feels like they’re hiding behind their real image of cheap and not so cheerful and the sun still shines on…
And recently noticed by Nathan Midgley from his comment on this post, that the sunny heart looks like a ‘v’ and is similar to the ‘v’ in the well-known Liverpool Victoria LVE logo:
